Literacy
Write a description of the seaside. Use adjectives to describe what you can see, hear, smell, touch and taste.
Numeracy
Practise learning your times tables! If you confidently know your 2, 5 and 10 times tables, try learning your 3, 4 and 6 times tables. Use the chart below to help you and get someone to test you, ready to be tested at school!
Spellings
As part of your Year 2 targets, it is important that you learn how to spell the Year 2 common exception words . These can be ‘tricky words’ or words that we often see and use.
Use the ‘look, say, c ove r, wri t e and c he c k ’ spelling strategy to learn
your spellings each week and remember to spell them correctly in your
writing.
