Welcome to The Barham and Preston Park Federation — a bold new partnership between Barham and Preston Park, united through our shared purpose of delivering transformational learning. Our federation is an ambitious step forward, bringing two strong schools together so we can do even more for our children, families and dedicated staff team.
Our schools are where spaces where children fall in love with learning. We want every child to feel inspired to learn, encouraged to think, and empowered to dream. We want our schools to be places where curiosity catches, confidence grows and pupils leave each day feeling proud of what they have achieved and excited about what comes next.
Transformational learning is learning that develops the whole child. It is more than our inspiring curriculum and academic results. It means children build deep knowledge and real understanding, develop the confidence to apply what they know, and grow the character and skills to thrive. It is children leaving us ready for the next stage — believing, “I can do this,” and “I belong here,” as they step into their exciting futures.
Federation gives us momentum and amplifies impact. It is not about us becoming the same. Rather it enables us to share the very best practice between our schools, learn from one another at pace, strengthen leadership capacity and create greater consistency, stability and opportunity for pupils. It also allows us to build a richer offer beyond the classroom, while keeping what makes each school special firmly at the centre of everything we do. Our work is grounded in collaboration, connection and care, so children feel safe, valued and proud, and thrive in a professional community built on trust, innovation and wellbeing.
